StreetGames is delighted to announce that former British Fed Cup captain Judy Murray will be appearing at our National Conference in April!

The famous sports personality, mother of World Number One Andy and decorated doubles champion Jamie, will be leading two tennis coaching sessions for a maximum of 30 people per session. Judy will also be on the main Conference platform for a Q&A.

Ahead of her forthcoming appearance at our Conference, Judy said: "I’m looking forward to attending and coaching at the annual StreetGames Conference in April.

"I know first-hand what a positive impact sport and coaches can have on the lives of young people living in disadvantaged communities and how hard the StreetGames network work to reach these young people, work with them, listen to them and give them opportunities to improve themselves.

"I'll be running practical sessions to share lots of activities and games that help to develop the skills needed to play tennis.

"I'll be explaining to the coaching staff the what's and the why's behind the activities as well as showing how to organise and communicate.

"It's all about making tennis fun and simple to teach in whatever space is available."

Judy’s appearance is one of many great reasons to book on! There are now fewer than 30 early bird places remaining so if you're interested in the coaching session, secure your spot quickly as places will be allocated on a first come first 'serve' basis!
