StreetGames will be delivering another Summer Camp this July linked to the World Para-Athletic Championships taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Park in London. This opportunity is open to all young people, aged 16+, from across the StreetGames network.

From Friday, 21st July, to Monday, 24th July, the four day camp will be located at Phasels Wood Campsite, in Hertfordshire, and will include: -

  • Tickets to watch the World Para-Athletics Championships.
  • Travel from the campsite to the athletics venue.
  • Activities on the campsite such as sports, outdoor activities and lots of fun devised by StreetGames Young Advisors.
  • All meals for the duration of camp.
  • Tented accommodation.

To secure places for young people we are asking that they be at least 16 years old or in their final year of high school (so that includes young people aged 15, with their birthday in late July or August 2017).

We will be working on a ratio of one project staff member to no more than six young people.

The cost will be a maximum of £125 per person, not including  your travel to the campsite. We will help organisations fundraise for their Summer Camp places and provide guidance and support. This will include: -

  • Fundraising ideas, hints and tips.
  • A list of sources and grants to apply to.
  • Template letters and assistance with bids for small grants applications.

This year we will be using a new deposit scheme for organisations with a minimum (non-refundable) deposit of £20 per person; to book your place please click here.
