UK No.1 gets Us Girls skating in Hastings

The UK’s No.1 female Skateboarder, Lucy Adams, visited Us Girls Hastings on Tuesday evening (16th October) to give tuition to local skaters. Us Girls is our Sport England-funded programme which aims to get 30,000 young women more physically active.

England and Chelsea centre back Gary Cahill received some StreetGames coaching last Wednesday (12th September) when StreetGames Hastings’ Ken Dullaway helped run a session for a group of competition winners at Wembley.

StreetGames Hastings meet England cricketers at T20

StreetGames volunteers and participants in Hastings had a treat at the end of June when they met England cricketers Matt Prior, Luke Wright and Michael Yardy (pictured).

StreetGames Hastings, in partnership with Sussex CCC, provided the young people who attend the StreetGames Street 20 cricket sessions with tickets to the T20 match between the Sussex Sharks and Kent Spitfires at Hove. 

In addition, the aspiring crickets have also had the opportunity to play at the national cricket centre at Canary Wharf.
