Doorstep Sport Clubs update

The Doorstep Sport Clubs programme has now entered into its testing period. This sees eight trailblazing areas in England running from now until the end of March 2013. StreetGames has been developing the application process and we are now planning for the roll-out of the programme in April 2013. During October we will send out the first stage of the application process for Doorstep Sport Clubs, which addresses the eligibility and governance of your organisation. This is a requirement of Lottery funding.

Once these have been collected, StreetGames will contact all eligible organisations regarding the next steps. Most organisations that apply will receive a visit from a StreetGames Doorstep Sport Adviser (DSA) to discuss current levels of provision and aspirations for the new Doorstep Sport Club(s).
