StreetGames is hosting the third meeting of The European Sports Experience on the 5th November in Newcastle. The event is part of a European project, co-funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission.

The European Sports Experience (TESE) is a project developed by different European organisations – StreetGames, DOC (Spain) and SportUnion Tirol (Austria) (pictured, above, in Tirol) - working in the sports industry. The main aim is to create a framework to support the development of collaborative activities between the different partners organisations involved, specifically focussing on vocational education and training (or VET) opportunities in sports.

The meeting will allow the attending sports professionals to continue their work on improving Vocational Education and Training (VET). Participants will share their feedback and reflexions on the good practices presented during the previous meeting. A debate will then take place between participants in order to find out how to improve these practices and transfer them to other countries. During the second part of the meeting, as Hosting Organisation, StreetGames will present our own good practices on training for sports coaches. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to witness first-hand the work of the sports professionals from the organisation when taking part in some of the activities of the Hosting Organisation.

The meeting in Newcastle will be the third of the series, taking place over two years, during which Project Partners will use peer learning activities, including the exchange of innovative tools and good practices on sports, in order to achieve the objectives of the project.
