England star coached by Ken

England and Chelsea centre back Gary Cahill received some StreetGames coaching last Wednesday (12th September) when StreetGames Hastings’ Ken Dullaway helped run a session for a group of competition winners at Wembley.

The FA and Mars-run Just Play competition offered winners the chance to train and play at Wembley with Just Play ambassador Cahill, and ex-pros John Barnes and Graham Le Saux. They also received expert coaching from Ken (pictured above, left), who holds a UEFA B coaching license and manages StreetGames’ running of two Just Play centres in Hastings.

Ever the professionals, Cahill, Le Saux and Barnes were a constant source of encouragement and instruction as they got stuck with the competition winners, all under the expert guidance of Ken.

Of the experience, Ken said: “What a fantastic day. To have the opportunity to coach at Wembley is every coach’s dream. The competition winners had a great time and Gary, Graham and John were good fun to be around and very down-to-earth.”
