State of Play
State of Play is a photo action within Orange’s Do Some Good app that helps StreetGames identify and map places to play sport in the UK which are in need of a bit of care and attention.
The free Do Some Good app brings volunteering to your mobile in bite-sized chunks and is designed to allow you to complete an action in a few minutes.
StreetGames gives young people across the UK greater access to sport. By using State of Play to help us locate potential places to play sport you can play your part in helping us to achieve this. It can be a rundown playground, an overgrown patch of grass or a piece of waste ground which has seen better days. All you need to do is take a photo of an area on which you think sport could be played, choose a category for it - 'No ball games' signs, Empty spaces for sport, Places I like to play sport, Rundown places to play - tag its location and add any comments you may have.
The app is available on smartphones and users do not need to be part of the Orange network.
