Helen Crowley With responsibility for the development of new and existing interventions, Helen works collaboratively with programme leads and area based teams to ensure interventions are delivered effectively, and successfully achieve the identified objectives for both StreetGames, its partners and external funders. Helen also has strategic responsibility for our women & girls work ensuring, where possible, that interventions delivered locally provide life-enhancing opportunities for girls from disadvantaged areas. Helens role also involves seeking opportunities to influence other organisations and sectors in the development of best practice for engaging and retaining females in sport and physical activity by sharing insight and learning gathered through the Us Girls programme. Helen joined StreetGames in 2011, following 10 years’ experience of working in the private sector as a sport and leisure consultant. Originally employed as the Us Girls Fieldwork and Knowledge Manager, she has progressed through to Strategic Lead for Equity, Doorstep Sport Club Programme Manager and Head of Programmes.
