In his role as Director of Delivery, Wales Paul is responsible for the charity’s operational management, ensuring the needs of key stakeholders are met, and that StreetGames continues to support the needs of young people, living in poverty, across Wales.

Paul joined StreetGames in 2011. During his time with the organisation, he has supported the charity’s work to improve and grow the sporting/physical activity offer to young people living in poverty across Wales. Since 2011, StreetGames has developed relationships with a large network of community and front-line-focused organisations, built close ties with Welsh Government and Sport Wales, and unlocked new investment to allow disadvantaged young people to gain access to Sport/Physical Activity.

Throughout his career, Paul has been committed to anti-poverty through sport/physical activity. He began this work at the age of 17, as a community sports coach for Newport City Council - delivering a wide range of sporting activities to young people living in some of Newport’s most deprived communities and with some of its ‘hardest to engage’ young people. He has worked in a coaching, tutoring and management capacity on programmes such as Positive Futures (Newport 2003-2009), Sports Leaders UK (South West England 2009 – 2011) and in recent years, with StreetGames.
