With responsibility for the development of new and existing interventions, Sue works collaboratively with programme leads and area based teams to ensure interventions are delivered effectively and successfully achieve the identified objectives for both StreetGames and external funders.

Sue also has strategic responsibility for Volunteering and Youth Action, supporting the Volunteer Fieldwork Manager in ensuring youth action is at the heart of Doorstep Sport; as well as seeking opportunities to influence other organisations and sectors in the development of volunteering best practice.

Sue joined StreetGames in 2010, following 6 years’ experience of Sport & Community Development with Local Authorities and Leisure Trusts. Originally employed as the National Volunteer Fieldworker delivering the CSYV programme, she has progressed through National Volunteer Manager, Strategic Lead for Volunteering and Head of Programmes.
