The £6.65m agreement, which follows on from a funding award of £500,000, granted back in 2017 – will be used to tackle a myriad of issues relating to youth inactivity, and centre on 50 of England’s most disadvantaged areas. Nominations are now open for the StreetGames National Awards 2019, StreetGames’ annual celebration of all things empowering in the youth and community sport sector. This year's event will feature 11 varied categories, recognising the wealth of talented individuals and organisations that make up the sport development landscape. Nominations close on Friday 22nd March, with all shortlisted candidates being notified shortly thereafter.
