A series of new case studies have shown the impressive impact of a new StreetGames programme committed to supporting whole families to get more active.

StreetGames’ Family Engagement Project aims to engage with families who are inactive, isolated or who have challenging circumstances which may impact on their health and wellbeing. Funded by the Healthy and Active Fund, the FEP operates in seven local authorities in South Wales.

Targeted to families who are inactive, isolated or who have challenging circumstances which may impact on their health and wellbeing, the project will work alongside local community sports organisations to increase physical activity and develop positive habits to improve long term health and wellbeing.

Now, case studies from the programmes in Caerphilly, Newport, Merthyr Tydfil and Torfaen have highlighted the impact and reach of the programme to date.
