StreetGames is delighted to announce that it has been named as the 2018 'Training Provider of the Year' at this year’s UK Active Training Awards! StreetGames' Deputy CEO Mark Lawrie and Workforce Development Manager Andrea Livesey were both on hand to accept the accolade, which recognizes the organisation's work to improve the lives of young people through innovative and holistic training.

The hotly contested category saw StreetGames going up against a diverse range of providers, including Discovery Learning, OriGym and the team at Future Fit UK - who walked away with the night's 'Best Innovation' award.

Ultimately however, it was the StreetGames Training Academy that took home the Training Provider award, with Judges noting the organisation's commitment to 'people-centered' learning methods, including residential events; as well as the key role played in the ongoing #21by21 campaign - which advocates for widespread mental health awareness training.

Commenting on the win, StreetGames' Director of Sport & Workforce, Hannah Crane wrote:

"StreetGames is committed to improving the skills and knowledge of the sport for development sector - working together to better understand and to reflect the needs of today's inactive people. This award recognizes the positive impact of that work, and we are enormously grateful for it".

StreetGames would like thank everyone involved in securing this landmark achievement, including the judging panel themselves for recognizing the organisation's commitment to excellence, and to young lives.
