Fundraising Ideas

Below are just a few fun ideas to help inspire you to fundraise for StreetGames or one of its campaigns.  So why not put the 'fun' back into fundraising and organise an event with friends.

Did you know that you don't even have to leave the house to raise money for StreetGames, just sign-up to easyfundraising or Amazon Smile and THEY will automatically donate a percentage of your total spend.  Happy shopping!  

Gift Aid

Remember to ask friends, family and colleagues to fill out your sponsorship / gift aid form whenever they donate so that we can claim an extra 25% from HMRC. So for every £1 donated we can receive £1.25. Not bad, eh?

Collect those pennies

Can you organise a collection at your local supermarket or theatre show? Getting out in the community to raise money will also help raise awareness for StreetGames.

Get competitive

Who doesn’t love a bit of healthy competition? Why not organise a football tournament, golf event or netball match with friends or colleagues. Ask individuals or teams to pay an entry fee, hold a sweepstake and treat participants to food and drinks afterwards with awards and a charity raffle.

Put on a show

Expand

Fancy yourself as the next (famous singer) or (famous comedian)? Why not put on an evening of entertainment and charge guests to attend. You could ask a local restaurant or bar to supply food and drinks and ask for donations.

Get your friends together and hold your own Pub Quiz, BBQ or Come Dine With Me evening. Ask friends to donate for food and drink, or ask them to pay what they think it’s worth. Hold other competitions and games through the evening to raise funds.

Get sponsored to swim the English Channel in your local pool or cycle London to Paris without leaving your gym. All you have to do is work out how far they are and then cover that distance. Go your own way or double the distance as part of a relay team.
