StreetGames welcomes the Kickstart scheme as a positive opportunity for young people, at an extremely challenging time.
The young people involved will be part of a nationwide group who access a paid job placement and relevant training that
enhances their future prospects.

Many will support people in their local communities to return to activity or become more active
supporting healthier, safer and more successful neighbourhoods.

Our History

StreetGames is one of the UK's leading 'sport for development' charities - changing lives and transforming communities through the power of sport. Formed in 2007, StreetGames was inspired by the success of joint work conducted by The FA, Football Foundation and other agencies working within disadvantaged areas – places in which young people were almost 50% less likely to be active than their more affluent peers.

Us Girls

A double award-winning programme, Us Girls is designed to increase and sustain young women’s participation in sport and physical activity within some of the nation’s most disadvantaged communities.
Apprenticeships

StreetGames' industry-leading apprenticeships are a mix of on-the-job, workplace learning and off-site conventional study - typically revolving around youth, community or sports-based coaching techniques. The employer pays the apprentice a wage and in return the government pays for most or all of their training.
