Tackling Inequality: Sport Shouldn’t be a Luxury.

StreetGames was founded in 2007, driven by the belief that every young person deserves the life-changing benefits of sport, regardless of their family’s income or their postcode. We exist to break down the barriers that deny this fundamental right and deliver real change for real young people.

Too many young people from low-income, under-served communities miss out on the benefits of sport, from better health to new friendships and life skills.
Barriers like cost, location, confidence, or a lack of accessible local opportunities often stand in the way.

2007: StreetGames is founded

2011: Award-winning Us Girls programme launched

2013: StreetGames wins Outstanding Contribution to Community award at the Big Society Awards

2016: Fit and Fed campaign launched

2018: StreetGames plays an integral role in the pilot of the government’s holiday activities and food (HAF) programme

2022: Inspiration campaign launched
