What the Training Academy Delivers
The Training Academy is essential to helping our community partners thrive and scaling up the Doorstep Sport model.
- Builds a Skilled Local Workforce: We train coaches, volunteers, and staff to deliver year-round Doorstep Sport in underserved communities.
- Fosters Inclusion and Diversity: Training develops a workforce that reflects the communities it serves, creating pathways for young people to grow, lead, and give back.
- Strengthens Community Understanding: We equip organisations with the insights they need to design and deliver the right opportunities for young people from low-income areas.
- Creates Trusted Adult Role Models: Our focus is on ensuring Doorstep Sport is delivered by people who understand and represent their community, building crucial trust with young participants.
