Our Team, Our Place: how sport can help build places where everyone belongs

Across the UK, communities are facing increasing division, harmful rhetoric, and rising hate crime. We know that community‑level sport has a vital role to play in strengthening cohesion and building pride in place. This event, from the Belong Network and supported by StreetGames, will bring together leaders, practitioners and partners to consider how we unlock that potential more fully.

Keynote speakers are Professor Ted Cantle, leading thinker on social cohesion, and Jeanette Bain‑Burnett, Executive Director, Policy and Integrity at Sport England.
