We are the people beside the people who change lives and communities.

What does it mean to be part of the StreetGames network?

Local community organisations are uniquely placed to transform young lives by providing fun and engaging activities, in a safe place, with trusted coaches and organisers who know their neighbourhood and the young people who live there.

We are proud to provide the local community organisations in our network with wraparound support to help them deliver, sustain and grow their activities, empowering them to do what they do best: creating positive change in the lives of young people through sport and physical activity.

By joining the StreetGames network, we can support you:

To connect with others

Join fellow network members at regional and local events as well as themed workshops and webinars, and benefit from introductions and connections to other sport sector and non-sport sector partners, such as health, youth and community safety, that can support your work.

With insight and innovation

Through our bulletins and Communities of Learning webinars, you can access the latest research, insight and learning from our Knowledge & Insights Team. You will also have the opportunity to join ‘test & learn’ pilots, helping to build understanding and develop best practice.

With workforce development

Access free training workshops, e-learning and online resources designed specifically to support the delivery of Doorstep Sport in the communities you work in.

To provide experiences for young people

Through our Inspiration campaign, we connect the young people you work with to major sporting events through opportunities to spectate and volunteer, as well as participating in StreetGames festivals, residentials and more.

To fundraise and be sustainable

Receive regular funding news and opportunities through our monthly newsletter, social media and targeted email ‘funding flashes’, as well as accessing a regular programme of fundraising and sustainability training and skills webinars.

To evaluate and evidence impact

Access our Monitoring & Evaluation kit-bag, including a range of resources, best practice examples and ‘How to…’ guides to help you demonstrate the impact of your work. You can also join us for online training webinars to support your monitoring and evaluation work and learn from others in the sector.

With communications and advocacy

Contribute to our campaigns and advocacy work by sharing your views and experiences, case studies and success stories, helping to highlight the unique and vital role of community organisations and the power of Doorstep Sport.
