StreetGames aims to transform the lives of young people in low-income communities through accessible sport and physical activity. We partner with National Governing Bodies (NGBs) and the wider sports sector to create meaningful, sustainable change. Our goal is for all mainstream sports providers to adapt their practices to meet the needs of underserved youth. By collaborating with NGBs, we leverage over 15 years of expertise in Doorstep Sport, offering a clear, evidence-based approach and tools that support inclusive, impactful, and lasting change in the sports sector.
The ‘Participation Gap’
Access to sport and physical activity is unequal, with young people from low-income communities facing significant barriers to participation. Many children in these communities want to be more active but lack access to the right opportunities that meet their needs and interests.
StreetGames exists to bridge this gap. Our Doorstep Sport approach provides accessible and inclusive sports programs specifically designed for young people in underserved communities. By bringing sports to them in a way that resonates, Doorstep Sport not only supports physical health but also empowers young people to overcome challenges, transforming lives and expanding future opportunities.
NGB Core Offer of Support
We appreciate that different organisations need different levels of support; therefore, we have developed a core offer of support – available to all NGBs and wider sport sector partners. We offer support around seven key themes through a variety of different methods, including online webinars and training, communities of learning, sharing of insight and case studies, online toolkits and opportunities to be involved in campaigns.
NGB Enhanced Offer of Support
Our enhanced support offer is designed for organisations committed to making sports more accessible to young people in low-income, underserved communities. We seek long-term partnerships with National Governing Bodies (NGBs) ready to drive strategic, systemic change. Our approach is proven and adaptable, focusing on six evidence-based steps to guide NGBs through meaningful transformation. Through collaboration we help organisations make a lasting impact, ensuring sports and physical activities are more inclusive for all children and young people.

Once again it has been a joy working alongside StreetGames throughout our 2024 Betfred Super League Season. Not only are they wonderful people to work with, but they make a real difference to the lives of many kids. It was our pleasure to introduce hundreds of children to Rugby League through attending all four of our Major Events. Any organisation looking to create proper impact with young people in communities should certainly consider partnering with StreetGames."
