Overview
The partnership will enable us to support 150 community sport organisations to increase their capability and capacity, so they can be even more effective at utilising the power of Doorstep Sport and sustaining delivery for the long-term.
Programme Aims
We will help community organisations unlock more funding and develop for the long-term, helping them strengthen their services, improve operational efficiency and governance and build long-term financial sustainability.
We will also foster stronger sector-wide collaboration and advocacy, ensuring a more connected and influential network.
What supported organisations will access
- Tailored mentoring and one-to-one development support from an experienced practitioner, to help YOU reflect on what is working well and areas for improvement.
- An individual Action Plan to prioritise short and long-term actions, support staff and improve sustainability.
- Funding and investment advice, guidance and bid application support.
- ‘Youth Voice’ support, including the opportunity to be part of StreetGames’ #NextGen Fundraisers pilot.
- Staff development and training opportunities.
- Access to Network Events, support from expert partners and support toolkits, resources and templates.
- The opportunity to explore and try different ways of working, both individually and part of a collective network.
Before joining the programme some of our activities would have been cancelled but with support from the team, we have managed to keep our doors open for the women and girls we work with.
