The workshop has been created to support leaders, volunteers and deliverers in bringing hockey to life in community settings.
Aims of the workshop:
- To introduce Hockey in a Doorstep Sport style (fun, informal, youth led and in their local community).
- To identify the basic skills needed to play.
- To experience a range of skills and modified games for young people and beginners.
- To understand and apply the basic rules of Hockey.
Who is it for: Community sport project leaders, coaches and volunteers.
Additional Information: You will gain experience delivering activities in a way that prioritises fun, inclusivity and youth choice, reflecting StreetGames’ Doorstep Sport principles.
