Hockey Activator

Live Training Workshop

Format: 3 hours
Minimum Age: 14 years old
Delivery Method: Face-to-face, up to 20 participants

The workshop has been created to support leaders, volunteers and deliverers in bringing hockey to life in community settings.

Aims of the workshop:

  • To introduce Hockey in a Doorstep Sport style (fun, informal, youth led and in their local community).
  • To identify the basic skills needed to play.
  • To experience a range of skills and modified games for young people and beginners.
  • To understand and apply the basic rules of Hockey.

Who is it for: Community sport project leaders, coaches and volunteers.

Additional Information: You will gain experience delivering activities in a way that prioritises fun, inclusivity and youth choice, reflecting StreetGames’ Doorstep Sport principles.
