Inclusion Activator

Live Training Workshop

Format: 3 hours
Minimum Age: 14 years old
Delivery Method: Face to face, up to 20 participants

The Inclusion activator has been designed based on feedback from our network of Locally Trusted Organisations (LTOs), to support practitioners, deliverers, coaches and volunteers (14 years+) in creating a more inclusive and empowering environment to deliver sport, physical activity and movement, for a diverse range of young people. This session provides a space to look at foundational principles of inclusion, the Doorstep Sport methodology & psychological ABCs, followed by tools for engagement.

By the end of this workshop, you will:

  • Outline the underpinning principles of inclusion.
  • Use the StreetGames Methodology & Psychological ABCs to engage diverse groups
  • Refer to tools for engagement.
  • Identify individual differences & how to create an environment to manage, support & develop these.

This Activator will be a mix of group work, discussion and reflection, as well as icebreakers and physical activities.
