Since 2023, the StreetGames network have experienced some of the most high profile events in the Rugby League calendar which has created a buzz within communities the sport has not previously reached. These events include:
- 2023 Super League Grand Final – Old Trafford, Manchester
- 2023 England vs Tonga Series – St Helens, Huddersfield, Leeds
- 2024 Challenge Cup Final – Wembley Stadium, London
- 2024 Super League Magic Weekend – Elland Road, Leeds
- 2024 Women’s Super League Grand Final – Totally Wicked Stadium, St Helens
- 2024 Super League Grand Final – Old Trafford, Manchester
- 2024 England vs Samoa Series – Wigan & Leeds
StreetGames are working closely with the RFL to explore participation opportunities for the network in areas where there is currently no accessible offer of Rugby League.
Rugby League World Cup
The Rugby League World Cup is one of the longest running World Cup tournaments in sport, and the highlight of the international rugby league calendar. Returning to England for the sixth time, the 2022 tournament saw stadiums across the country welcome thousands of fans to experience the excitement for themselves.
In partnership with the Rugby League World Cup, we were able to offer thousands of young people across our network the opportunity to be a part of the action.
