StreetGames work with a number of local and national housing associations to deliver life-enhancing Doorstep Sport interventions.

StreetGames work with a number of local and national housing associations to deliver Doorstep Sport interventions that effectively engage young people and adult residents, improving the quality of life in areas of social housing and delivering wider social outcomes. Through a partnership working approach between locally trusted delivery organisations and housing association staff and the residents of their housing stock, a Doorstep Sport offer is developed in targeted neighbourhoods – meeting local need and placing the young people at the heart of provision. Over the past 15 years StreetGames have worked with the following:
YUSport Project (2011-15)
StreetGames worked with seven housing associations in Greater London (Family Mosaic, Hyde Housing, L&Q, Circle 33, Affinity Sutton, Metropolitan and Sanctuary), creating sixteen sporting hubs and engaging 9,514 young people.
Believe Housing – Peterlee Project (2019-21)
StreetGames worked with the social landlord to establish Doorstep Sport programmes on two estates in Durham, engaging 140 young people, delivering training to 27 young and adult volunteers, and contributing towards an 89% reduction in reports of anti-social behaviour.
Places for People – Doorstep Sport Project (2021-2024)
This project has seen the delivery of Doorstep Sport programmes in 13 housing areas across England, with more than 2,000 young people accessing some provision over the course of the programme.
Clarion Housing – Doorstep Sport pilot (2022-2024)
This project involved the delivery of Doorstep Sport and holiday hunger programmes (Fit & Fed initiative) in two housing areas in Birmingham and South London, with 88 young people engaged to date and 72% attending on a regular basis (at least 50% of sessions).
Lewisham Homes – Doorstep Sport Project (2023-2024)
This project has seen the delivery of a Doorstep Sport programme on the Crossfield Estate in Deptford, south east London. The community organisation delivering the offer, Saving Souls Hub, has effectively engaged more than 30 young people from the estate, developing some of these into young leaders who now support with their sessions.
Riverside Housing – Doorstep Sport Project (2024-2025)
In partnership with Riverside Housing and three locally trusted community organisations, StreetGames are coordinating the delivery of a Doorstep Sport offer across two housing areas in Salterbeck (Workington) and Moss Green (Stoke) with the addition of a substantial training offer.
