Starting your Fundraising Journey

This webinar is aimed at those who are brand new to fundraising (it’s a snapshot of the Race for Investment). It takes you through a typical funding application and general top tips for writing one. If you are brand new to fundraising, or have not been successful with funding applications this is the course for you.

Demonstrating the Need

Are you unsure of the best way to demonstrate the need for your project? This will take you through when, what and how to use statistics and demonstrate the need within funding applications.

Race For Investment

This 4-week course is designed to offer sports clubs and community organisations (with little or no bid writing experience) hands-on support, advice and guidance. The aim is that each organisation writes a funding bid and submits with support.

Monitoring and Evaluation

This webinar provides you with some ideas and practical tools to help you monitor and evaluate your projects effectively and demonstrate the impact of your work. If you are responsible for collecting data and/or completing the evaluation, book this course!

Alternative Income Generation

There are a number of different ways to generate income. This webinar will take you through many forms in a little more detail, with a deeper dive into Crowdfunding and Trusts & Foundations.

Writing your Fundraising Plan

This webinar will look at how to write a fundraising plan for a year, different income streams and putting SMART objectives in place for your fundraising.

The below courses are designed to go into more detail on specific areas that you may want to focus your funding applications on. Ideally, you will already be confident at writing funding bids.

Small Grants

Focusing on the Sport England funding pots that are currently open, we will go through the questions asked and recommend how best to answer them. This is a great course if you are looking to go for one of the open Sport England pots.

Corporate partnerships and fundraising

This webinar goes through where to start when you would like to develop corporate partnerships to gain investment from them.

Community safety specific bids

This webinar goes through what funding you can go for to deliver a community safety programme.

Asset-Based Community Development

This webinar focuses on Asset Based Community Development and how we can use this approach to design and strengthen our community programmes. This is a great course if you are looking to reach more of your community when setting up a new initiative.

Housing Associations – Community Investment

This webinar will support you to feel confident in applying for funding from a housing association. We will look at the community investment priorities of housing associations and how to put together a strong funding bid.
