Live Training Workshop

Dodgeball Activator

Course duration: 3 hours

Minimum age: 16

Developed by StreetGames and UK Dodgeball Association, the workshop provides learners with game ideas and the basic rules of dodgeball in order to introduce the sport to young people in their community.

Participants combine their existing coaching and leadership skills and experience with the games and challenges in the workshop to learn how to engage young people in dodgeball for the first time.

By the end of the workshop attendees will be able to: understand dodgeball and the fundamental skills needed to play; deliver basic dodgeball activities to groups of young people; understand and apply basic rules for informal dodgeball games; and organise dodgeball challenges and social competitions.

Who is it for: Community sport project leaders, coaches and volunteers
