• Grade/Salary Range: £160 per day
  • Part Time (2 days per week for 48 weeks per year)
  • Location: West Midland, with a specific focus in Birmingham, Coventry and the Black Country

StreetGames is a national charity which has a reputation for delivering doorstep sport in deprived communities engaging hard to reach young people through sport in the right style, right place, right time, and right price and with the right people; to help them lead an active lifestyle and achieve their potential. Our goal is to make sport accessible to everyone regardless of their income and social circumstance.

Doorstep Sport Advisors will form part of the StreetGames Area Teams and will work alongside the Area Director and Partnership Sustainability Lead to develop and support our vision of creating collaborative clusters across 50 geographical areas in England. Each cluster will aim to increase physical activity for children & young people that also achieves wider social outcomes.   

StreetGames are looking for suitable people with experience of working in sport with disadvantaged communities and the skills to be able to support clusters of organisations, bringing them together to work towards a common goal. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and people management skills, be solution focussed as well as possessing a good knowledge of wider social outcomes and how to address them for people living in lower socio-economic communities through sport and physical activity.  

We will be offering contracts that fit in with applicant’s other commitments and will discuss the number of days and contract length with successful candidates. Doorstep Sport Advisors will be paid £160 per day inclusive of expenses.  Secondment opportunities will also be considered.
